  • Looking for a solution for big blank walls in your home?

  • Have ample pictures on your phone that you never get the opportunity to share?

  • Does your home lack personality, and interest points?

If one or more of the above are true, then it is likely your home is in desperate need of a gallery wall.

A Gallery Wall doesn't have to be cumbersome or outdated. When executed correctly, a Gallery Wall can bring much needed warmth and personality into your home. Achieving the perfect Gallery Wall requires intentionality. Follow the 6 simple steps below to achieve the perfect Gallery Wall.

  1. Locate your favorite frames: this involves determining where you want to order your picture prints from, and whether or not this company provides framing options. If there are no framing options included at your print location, consider shopping for frames that complement your images.

  2. Utilize a uniform frame edge: avoid selecting several different frame types, and shapes, as it can create an overwhelming look.

  3. Consider frame size and scale: the scale of your frames should be relative to that of your walls. If you have a large wall, avoid ordering small frames, as they will appear lost and out of place in relation to your wall.

  4. Recommend 1.5 inch to 4 inch of spacing between frames: consider increasing or decreasing spacing depending on number of frames, and scale of frame to the wall.

  5. Add Gallery Lighting above frames for an extra touch of elegance.

  6. Allow your home design preference to guide the style of frames and gallery lights in your space.
